Club Marigny in Paris

"On our trip before last to Paris about a year ago, our concierge raved about Club Marigny. If I recall correctly he mentioned it was a place where government officials would dine at and it was supposed to have an old school, post war vibe. Needless to say, we ran out of time that trip and couldn’t try it. Walking from Hermes (Rue du Faubourg) to Louis Vuitton (Av. Montaigne), google maps passed us through Marigny Street. It sounded familiar but I couldn’t remember why, until I saw the sign for Club Marigny. So we decided to see if they would fit us in for an impromptu lunch, and we would not regret it. Club Marigny was an absolute hit and was an easy 5/5 for me. The location is great, the vibe is perfect and classy, and the service couldn’t have been better. Our server Enis was fantastic, super friendly and attentive to our every need. Food-wise, everything was delicious! Started with a glass of rose champagne as it pairs well with seafood. The Luxe Salad was really fresh and light, though I would have liked a little more seasoning (still solid at 4/5). The Mini Spring Rolls (Thai Basil Chicken) were spot on, flavourful and cooked perfectly with an equally flavourful spicy dipping sauce (5/5). But the real star was the Shrimp: huge, juicy, and packed with flavor. Paired with the lemongrass, coconut, and cilantro pineapple salad and that spicy peanut dipping sauce… just perfection. All in all, great food, great atmosphere, and top-notch service. The interior is gorgeous but we sat on the terrace as it was a beautifully sunny fall afternoon. Definitely recommend inside or out! Ps I don’t understand the bad reviews, but have heard that some well guarded treasures intentionally post bad reviews to keep foreigners away. If this is true, that’s hilarious and sorry to expose the truth lol"

"This is by far the best restaurant that I have been to in Paris. The food is spectacular, and the ambiance is great. We are a black couple with a young baby and we enjoyed our time and the food. Upon arrival a member of their team took our stroller and stored it for us. Priced on the higher end but well worth it. A must go if you are looking for a high end restaurant!!"
